We are proud to announce the September/October 2026 issue of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) national magazine published a wonderful article about Bravo! Common Men, Common Valor and producers, Ken and Betty Rodgers.

The article with photos can be found in the print edition on Pages 50 and 51 under Vets in Focus. You can also read the text online at this link:  https://tinyurl.com/One-Hell-of-a-Story.

Writer Danny Cook asked many thought-provoking questions about Ken and his experience during the 77-day Siege of Khe Sanh in 1968. Cook was also interested in the process of telling the story of that battle through film, and how Bravo! has found its way into the world.

Quoting Ken, “The men I served with at Khe Sanh endured a brutal, grueling siege,” he said. “They came home to America and were treated as pariahs and losers. To offer a platform for these men to tell the world about the horrors and heroism of that battle is the most important outcome of this documentary.”

Cook also mentions the Rodgers’ second documentary, I Married the War, wherein 11 wives of combat veterans reveal how war affects families, and how they adapted and learned to walk through the aftermath with their husbands.

Join us in thanking the VFW for giving Bravo! this important and welcome exposure.
